Returns and Refunds
This policy applies to products purchased from 888-RC at https://888-rc.co.uk.
888-RC is the trading name of DP Merron Ltd. Our business details are shown at the bottom of this policy.
Change-of-Mind Returns
If you buy from us online and change your mind, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
After telling us you wish to cancel, you then have 14 days to send the goods back to us.
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in a resaleable condition. Please return the item with its original packaging where reasonably possible, including any labels, packs, or product information supplied with it.
To start a return, please contact us at contact@888-rc.co.uk before sending anything back. We will provide the correct return instructions.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage unless we have supplied the wrong item, the item is faulty, or the item is not as described.
Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, incorrect, missing parts, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@888-rc.co.uk with your order number and clear details of the issue.
Where the issue is our responsibility, we will arrange a suitable resolution. This may include a replacement, exchange, repair where appropriate, or refund.
If we ask you to return a faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed item, we will cover reasonable return postage costs or provide return instructions.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods.
RC Bearing Fitment and Compatibility
Many RC models have different versions, optional parts, upgrades, or production changes. Product pages include the bearing sizes and fitment information available to us.
Before fitting bearings, please check the sizes against your manual or the bearings removed from your model. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before installation and we will help where we can.
Bearings that have been fitted, run, damaged during installation, contaminated with dirt or chemicals, or modified may not be accepted as change-of-mind returns unless they are faulty or not as described.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept change-of-mind returns for items that have been used, fitted, damaged after delivery, modified, or returned incomplete.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.
Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong bearing size or kit and the item is unused and in resaleable condition, contact us at contact@888-rc.co.uk. We can advise on an exchange where suitable stock is available.
You may need to pay any price difference and return postage for change-of-mind exchanges.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and checked, we will confirm the outcome by email.
Approved refunds will be sent to your original payment method. We normally process approved refunds within 1 business day of approval, although your bank or card provider may take longer to make the money available.
For valid cancellation returns, refunds will be processed within the legal timescales after we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that you have sent them back.
Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Extra delivery upgrades, such as express shipping chosen by the customer, may not be refunded beyond the standard delivery cost unless the item was faulty, incorrect, or not as described.
